Fourth suspect arrested over Jewish charity ambulance arson attack

Fourth Suspect Arrested in Ambulance Arson Attack Linked to Jewish Community

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) announced the arrest of a fourth individual connected to the recent arson incident involving ambulances owned by a Jewish charity in north London. This arrest occurred on Saturday morning at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, where a man was spotted exiting the courthouse by law enforcement.

Three suspects who had already been charged appeared before the court that morning. They were remanded in custody and face charges of arson with intent to damage property, as well as being reckless regarding potential life endangerment. The accused include Hamza Iqbal, 20, and Rehan Khan, 19, both British nationals, alongside a 17-year-old boy holding dual British-Pakistani citizenship.

Prosecutors presented evidence suggesting the attack was deliberately planned to strike against the Jewish community. The court was informed that four people were involved in the incident, with two additional men—aged 45 and 47—arrested last week and granted bail pending further investigation.

“There is substantial proof the attack was premeditated and aimed at targeting the Jewish community,” stated the court’s proceedings.
