Bill Clinton denies any knowledge of Epstein’s sex crimes
Bill Clinton Asserts Lack of Awareness Regarding Epstein’s Sexual Crimes
A video of Bill Clinton’s deposition has been made public, revealing the former U.S. president’s testimony about his interactions with Jeffrey Epstein. The footage, released by the House of Representatives Oversight Committee, captures Clinton’s sworn statements during a two-day session last week. He claimed to have first encountered Epstein in 2002 while traveling on the financier’s private jet, tied to the Clintons’ humanitarian efforts. Their relationship, however, ended shortly after that meeting.
Clinton emphasized that he was unaware of Epstein’s criminal activities at the time. “There’s nothing that I saw when I was around him that made me realize he was trafficking women,” he stated during the hearing. This assertion comes despite Epstein’s 2008 guilty plea for soliciting prostitution involving a minor. The Clintons have not faced formal accusations of wrongdoing, though scrutiny over their ties to the late sex offender has intensified.
Hillary Clinton, his wife, echoed her husband’s stance, stating she could not recall meeting Epstein. The couple’s depositions highlight ongoing calls for accountability linked to the Epstein files. Clinton also recounted a discussion with Donald Trump, recalling that Trump mentioned their association with Epstein. “Somehow, [Donald Trump] knew I had flown in Jeffrey Epstein’s aircraft,” Clinton noted, adding that Trump claimed their relationship had soured due to a real estate disagreement.
According to Clinton, Trump never indicated any improper involvement in Epstein’s activities. “He said, ‘You know, we had some great times together over the years, but we fell out all because of a real estate deal,'” Clinton explained. Both leaders acknowledged their connection to Epstein prior to his 2008 conviction but maintained they had no evidence of sex trafficking.
“There’s nothing that I saw when I was around him that made me realize he was trafficking women.”
