Authorities believe Nancy Guthrie was abducted from her Tucson, Arizona, residence, though no suspect has been arrested and the motive remains unclear. The 68-year-old was last seen on 31 January, when relatives dropped her off at home. She failed to appear at a friend’s house the next morning to attend a virtual Sunday service, leaving her family in distress.

The family launched a $1 million reward initiative in February, offering incentives for any information leading to Nancy’s safe return. Guthrie also hinted at the possibility that her own public profile might have played a role in the incident, stating the idea was “too much to bear.” Her mother vanished without her medications, adding to the concerns of the search team.
